Undergraduate Customs Co-ordinator
£24,570 plus great benefits (Work Level 6C)

12-month work placement (starting June 2026) 

We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Undergraduate Customs Co-ordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Manchester on a 12-month work placement. As an Undergraduate in our Supply Chain team, you’ll focus on a range of product areas, giving you the chance to learn about how Co-op identifies, develops, launches, and supplies products. You’ll work with our team spending time on key projects, including the movements of goods to Northern Ireland in the Windsor Framework project.  If you’re a great team player with a passion for growing your career, we can offer you an amazing opportunity to do just that with a business that always puts people at the heart of its strategy.

What you’ll do

  • Embed into cross category teams engaging with Technical and Commercial teams along with Freight Forwarding, Route to Market and Logistics 
  • Get involved with our Co-op networks and working groups across Supply Chain, looking at ways to improve experiences for all colleagues and support communities 
  • Work with HMRC reporting to complete investigations and feedback on queries raised
  • Be involved in compliance activity in areas such as EU deforestation regulations and other changes to export regulations impacting Northern Ireland 
  • Support the Co-op manage regulatory change to make sure our customers in Northern Ireland continue to have choice in our stores 
  • Play your part in keeping our product movements compliant 

This role would suit people who 

  • Are currently in their second year of studying towards an undergraduate degree
  • Have an interest in Supply Chain/Customs 
  • Have good communication and relationship building skills 
  • Have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Are passionate about developing their career
